Doors and trim are the quiet details that make a home feel finished

Doors and trim are where older homes show their age — mismatched styles, yellowed paint, inconsistent profiles, and hardware from three different decades. We fix all of that with a simple, consistent approach:

  • One interior door style throughout the home

  • One trim profile for all windows and doors

  • One baseboard style and height

  • Satin finish for durability and a clean, modern look

  • Hardware that matches the home’s overall tone

This is how we create a cohesive, elevated feel without overcomplicating the design.

🚪 Interior Doors

We use a single door style across the entire home to create flow and consistency. Clean lines. Solid feel. Satin finish.

Our Standards

  • Solid‑core, pre‑hung doors only

  • 1‑panel, 3‑panel, 4‑panel, or 5‑panel profiles

  • Modern, simple lines

  • Satin paint for durability

  • Consistent hardware finish

  • Hinges either painted to match the door or selected in a metallic finish (black, nickel, brass) that aligns with the home’s hardware package — this decision is made at the vision stage so the entire home reads as one cohesive system

This keeps every door feeling intentional, substantial, and aligned with the overall design direction.

🚪 Front Door (With Sidelight Options)

Your front door sets the tone for the entire home. We use a consistent, modern style across all flips — with the option for:

  • Clear glass

  • Flemish glass

And when the plan calls for it, we include a matching sidelight to bring in natural light and elevate curb appeal.

🔩 Door Hardware

Door hardware is a major design detail — and a major affiliate category — so it deserves its own section.

Our Standards

  • Modern lever handles

  • Matching hinges (painted or metallic)

  • Deadbolts that match the interior hardware finish

  • Satin nickel, matte black, or aged bronze depending on the home’s palette

📏 Trim & Baseboards

Trim is one of the easiest ways to modernize an older home — and one of the most overlooked.

Our Standards

  • 1×4 or 1×6 straight‑edge trim

  • Clean, square profiles

  • Consistent reveal lines

  • Satin finish for durability

Baseboards

  • 5¼" or 6" height depending on ceiling height

  • Straight, modern profile

  • Satin finish

🏠 Why This Matters

Doors and trim are the details buyers feel, even if they don’t consciously notice them. When everything matches — profiles, heights, hardware, sheen — the home feels intentional, elevated, and professionally finished.

This is one of the simplest ways to take a flip from “updated” to “refined.”.
