Surfaces are the foundation of how a home feels
Surfaces and materials are the first things people notice and the last things they forget. They set the tone for the entire home — the warmth under your feet, the texture on the walls, the movement in the tile. We choose materials that are durable, timeless, and cohesive from room to room.

🪵 Flooring
We use LVP throughout our homes because it delivers the perfect balance of durability, warmth, and visual flow.
Our standards:
Warm neutral tones
Matte finish to reduce glare
Minimal transitions
Installed to create a seamless, continuous feel
🪨 Countertops
Quartz is our go‑to for kitchens and baths — clean, modern, and low‑maintenance.
Our standards:
Subtle veining
Square edge profile
Coordinated backsplash materials
Light, bright tones that photograph beautifully
🧩 Tile & Backsplash
Tile is where we add personality — always subtle, always intentional. My wife leads this part of the design, using layout, scale, and color to create interest without overwhelming the space.
Color — Used Carefully
Tile is one of the few places we introduce color, but the rule is simple:
Make a statement, but keep it subtle enough that new owners can still layer in their own style.
🎨 Surface Consistency
Every surface in the home should feel like it belongs to the same story. Flooring, countertops, tile, and backsplash all work together — not as individual choices, but as a unified palette.
This is where restraint matters. A home feels elevated when the materials complement each other instead of competing.
🏠Why It Matters
Surfaces and materials are what buyers touch, feel, and remember. They’re the foundation of the home’s personality — the quiet backdrop that lets everything else shine.
A tight, intentional palette builds trust and makes the home feel designed, not just updated.
